About the Freeths Employment Team

Our Employment, Pensions and Immigration team comprises more than 50 specialists across our 12 offices nationwide and is led by Rena Magdani, National Head of Employment, Pensions & Immigration. Rena is ranked Band 1 by Chambers & Partners and is recognised in The Legal 500 Hall of Fame for Employment.

We provide a specialist employment law and HR advisory service to a range of companies from PLCs to SMEs. This includes advice on disciplinary and grievance matters, unfair dismissal, discrimination, TUPE, whistleblowing, redundancy, restructures and strategic advice to senior management teams and boards. We also advise senior executives and professionals in all aspects of the employment relationship. We have established a reputation for providing timely responses and pragmatic, cost-effective solutions.

A number of our highly regarded teams are ranked in the top tier for employment in the Legal 500 and Top Ranked by Chambers & Partners and many of our employment lawyers are ranked as recommended lawyers / leading individuals in these publications.

The team benefits from having their own dedicated Professional Skills Employment Lawyer who supports the team with business development, technical training, and complex employment law matters and in addition a specialist in-house Counsel to support in delivering excellent client advice and care.

The Role

The team has shown significant growth, expanding by circa 45% over the past 4 years and we are now seeking a further Director or Partner Level employment lawyer to join our friendly and dynamic team. You could be based from any of our 12 offices across the UK. You will have a good following or referral network with the ambition and skills to help lead and grow the team. The team continues to experience rapid growth, so this role would suit someone who is looking to get involved in business development and shaping the teams' future strategy.
