Taylor Root is delighted to be working with a leading UK employment practice in its search for an Employment Associate to join its highly regarded team.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a junior and mid-level lawyer to join a Tier 1 ranked employment practice recognised as one of the strongest teams in the market. The team advises an impressive roster of household-name businesses, multinational corporates, high-growth companies, and market-leading employers across a broad range of sectors.
The role offers exposure to a first-class mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including complex tribunal litigation, workplace investigations, senior executive issues, restructurings, business protection matters, and strategic advisory work. Associates are given great client exposure and work closely alongside market-leading partners on some of the most interesting and high-profile mandates in the sector.

The Candidate
- NQ to 4 years PQE
- England & Wales qualified solicitor
- Experience practicing in a reputable city or regional employment team
- Strong technical employment law knowledge
- Experience advising employer clients across a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters
- Excellent drafting, communication, and client management skills
