An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Employment Lawyer with 1–3 years’ PQE to join the highly regarded Employment practice of a well-known UK firm.
The role offers a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment work
The role offers a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment work, with the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility from an early stage. The successful candidate will advise employers and senior individuals on a wide range of matters, including employment contracts, policies and procedures, disciplinary and grievance matters, performance issues, redundancies and restructurings, family-friendly rights, employment-related data protection and privacy matters, TUPE, the employment aspects of corporate transactions, senior executive exits and settlement arrangements, as well as wider employment and partnership disputes.

There will also be a strong contentious element to the role. The successful candidate will assist with and, where appropriate, manage Employment Tribunal proceedings, including drafting pleadings, dealing with case management matters and attending preliminary hearings.
Experience required
- Qualified in England & Wales
- 1–3 years’ PQE gained within a leading Employment practice
- Ability to provide clear, practical advice.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong academic background with a minimum 2:1 degree.
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic.
