Senior Associate – Employment | London | 5–7 PQE

A leading international law firm is seeking to appoint a Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Employment team in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious employment lawyer with substantial transactional experience who is looking to work on sophisticated, high-value matters with a significant international and cross-border element.

The role

The successful candidate will have a broad and varied workload, with the opportunity to advise on complex transactional, contentious and advisory matters.

A particular focus of the role will be advising on the employment aspects of high-value corporate transactions, including M&A, private equity investments, restructurings and group reorganisations.

You will work closely with corporate, private equity, real estate and regulatory colleagues, as well as US and other international counsel.

The wider practice also handles complex and sensitive contentious matters, including employment tribunal claims, High Court litigation, pre-action negotiations and matters involving senior executives. There will therefore be scope to develop a genuinely broad employment practice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
