Description
The Employment Legal Director will be:
- Providing commercially focused employment advice to a broad range of clients
- Advising company owners, senior management, HR professionals, and in-house legal teams
- Advising public and private sector organizations, senior employees, and executives
- Handling a broad range of employment matters including disciplinary issues, grievances, dismissals, redundancy, and restructuring
- Advising on Employment Tribunal claims, including whistle-blowing and discrimination matters
- Drafting and reviewing employment documentation and providing practical strategic advice
- Working on corporate transactions, including advising on TUPE matters
- Assisting with employment investigations and other complex workplace issues
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships
- Supervising junior lawyers, trainees, and paralegals within the team

Profile
The Employment Legal Director should be:
- A solicitor with 7+ years PQE plus in employment law
- Experienced across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Strong experience advising employers and senior stakeholders
- Experienced in Employment Tribunal matters, including discrimination and whistle-blowing claims
- Advising on restructures, redundancies, dismissals, and TUPE
- Commercially minded with excellent technical and client management skills
- A strong communicator who can build trusted relationships with clients
- Comfortable supervising and developing junior members of the team
- Motivated to develop their career within an international law firm

Job Offer
- Salary ranging from £85,000 to £95,000
- 26 days holiday leave
