Role: Employment Litigation Solicitor (Remote)
Salary: up to £75,000 DOE
Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and commercially minded Lawyer to join a well renowned Employment Litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of their own caseload, develop their litigation and advocacy skills, and build strong, trusted relationships with clients. You will advise and represent clients across a range of employment disputes and Employment Tribunal matters, providing clear, practical and commercially focused advice. You will work as part of a supportive and collaborative team while having genuine responsibility for progressing your own matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of Employment Tribunal claims and workplace disputes from initial instruction through to resolution.
- Advise clients on legal and commercial risks, developing appropriate strategies to protect their interests and resolve disputes effectively.
- Draft and review ET3 responses, witness statements, applications, chronologies, schedules of loss and other litigation documentation.
- Prepare for and attend Case Management Hearings, preliminary hearings and other Tribunal hearings as required.
- Work alongside counsel and colleagues on more complex cases and matters proceeding to final hearings.
- Coordinate hearing preparation, including Tribunal bundles, procedural deadlines and compliance with Tribunal orders.
- Identify opportunities to provide additional legal support and strategic advice to existing clients.
- Contribute to business development and the achievement of team and individual financial objectives.
- Keep up to date with developments in employment legislation, Employment Tribunal decisions and emerging workplace issues.
- Prepare clear and accessible updates for clients on relevant developments in employment law and workplace practice.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure matters are progressed efficiently and to a consistently high standard.

About You
The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Barrister.
- Have experience in employment law and/or Employment Tribunal litigation.
- Have experience drafting Employment Tribunal pleadings, witness statements and related litigation documents.
- Be confident managing their own caseload and advising clients directly.
- Have advocacy experience, or a genuine interest in developing their advocacy skills.
- Be able to communicate legal advice clearly and translate complex legal issues into practical, commercially focused solutions.
- Possess excellent drafting, organisational and case management skills.
- Demonstrate strong client relationship and communication skills.
- Be proactive, commercially aware and comfortable taking ownership of their work.
- Have a genuine interest in developing their legal practice and contributing to the wider success of the team.
