Fantastic opportunity to join a Legal 500 Employment team in Shrewsbury

We're working with a highly regarded Legal 500 law firm to recruit an Employment Paralegal into their established Employment team in Shrewsbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous legal experience, ideally within employment law, who is looking to develop their career while working closely with Partners on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting fee earners with employment law matters from instruction through to completion.
  • Drafting legal correspondence, documents, and letters of advice.
  • Preparing bundles and supporting documentation for Employment Tribunal hearings.
  • Conducting legal research and preparing file summaries.
  • Acting as a point of contact for clients, providing updates and handling routine enquiries.
  • Managing diaries, key deadlines, and administrative aspects of live matters.
  • Opening new files, completing client onboarding, and ensuring AML and GDPR compliance.
  • Recording time accurately and assisting with billing where required.
