Employment Relations Lead
Location: Liverpool, Walker House (Hybrid Working, Wednesday & Thursday office days)
Salary: £65,000-£70,000+ Car Allowance + Benefits
Full Time Permanent
About the Role
At Bibby Line Group, our people are fundamental to our success. We're looking for an experienced Employment Relations Lead to join our People Team and act as the Group's subject matter expert for employment law, employee relations and people governance.
Working across a diverse portfolio of businesses, you'll provide expert guidance on complex people matters, minimise organisational risk and help shape the policies, frameworks and practices that support our colleagues and leaders.
This is a highly visible role with exposure to senior stakeholders, offering the opportunity to influence strategic business decisions, organisational change programmes and future people initiatives across the Group.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading on complex employee relations across the Group.
- Providing expert advice and coaching to HR colleagues and business leaders.
- Managing Employment Tribunal, ACAS and employment litigation activity.
- Owning and developing employment policies, governance frameworks and contractual documentation.
- Supporting organisational change and design.
- Advising on people-related aspects of mergers, acquisitions and business integrations.
- Identifying and mitigating employment and people-related risks.
- Building organisational capability through coaching, training and knowledge sharing.

What We're Looking For
- Significant experience in a specialist Employee Relations role.
- Extensive knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations best practice.
- Experience managing Employment Tribunals and ACAS Early Conciliation.
- Strong background advising senior leaders on complex and high-risk people matters.
- Experience supporting organisational change, restructures and TUPE activity.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and decision-making skills.
- CIPD Level 7 qualified (or equivalent experience).
