Employment Partner (Head of Department) – Up to £125,000 + Benefits + Bonus

This is a superb opportunity to join an award-winning, modern, dynamic, and supportive legal 500 firm offering specialist quality legal advice to commercial clients and private individuals.

The Team

The Team has a strong and growing reputation in the Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Thames Valley market and they work for clients both locally and nationally.

The Opportunity

Due to succession planning in the team, it is now seeking to appoint an experienced Employment Lawyer to lead the team to work alongside existing partners, driving a resilient and varied legal practice.

The Role

The successful candidate will be advising individuals on both contentious and non-contentious issues including corporate support matters, TUPE and Director level settlement agreements etc.

You’ll be acting for a range of clients from private individuals, to SME, OMB and national corporate's.

This would also be a suitable opportunity for an Employment Senior Associate looking to step up to a Head of department position with an opportunity to be a shareholder in the firm.

The Candidate

  • A Senior Employment Solicitor with between 10 years+ PQE
  • Ability to work to deadlines/targets, to prioritise and manage a varied caseload
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
  • Professional and effective communication with individuals and business contacts
