Employment Solicitor (NQ+) | Hybrid | Croydon | Up to £55,000 + Bonus

I'm partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit an Employment Solicitor to join a collaborative and highly regarded Corporate Services Employment Law team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor looking to develop their employment law career in a role that offers genuine work-life balance, exposure to a broad range of complex matters, and the chance to advise a diverse portfolio of well-known corporate clients.

The Role

Working as part of an experienced team, you'll provide commercially focused employment law advice to employer clients across a wide range of sectors. You'll advise HR professionals, Directors and senior stakeholders by phone and email, helping them navigate day-to-day employment law issues with practical, business-focused solutions.

You'll advise on matters including:

  • Disciplinary and grievance procedures
  • Gross misconduct
  • Whistleblowing
  • Redundancy
  • TUPE
  • Trade unions and industrial relations
  • Employment Rights Act changes
  • Gender pay gap reporting
  • General employment law and HR compliance

You'll also have the opportunity to review employment contracts and workplace documentation while building trusted relationships with a varied corporate client base.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Solicitor (NQ+)
  • Employment law experience gained during a training seat and/or post qualification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A commercial, pragmatic approach to employment law
  • Strong client service and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable managing a busy caseload and working to service level agreements
  • Experience advising employer clients, larger corporate organisations or within an advisory environment would be advantageous but isn't essential.
