Employment Solicitor (2 Years PQE+)
Kew Law is seeking an ambitious and client-focused Employment Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE to join our growing Employment team based in Wickford. The successful candidate will work closely with our wider Litigation Department, providing employment law advice to both businesses and individuals across Essex and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop a varied employment practice whilst benefiting from the support, referrals and resources of an established litigation team.

Job Description
The Role
You will advise on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including:
- Unfair dismissal claims
- Discrimination and harassment claims
- Employment Tribunal proceedings
- Settlement agreements
- Disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Redundancy and restructuring matters
- Employment contracts, policies and staff handbooks
- HR and employment law support for business clients
- Restrictive covenants and post-termination disputes

You will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload whilst working alongside experienced colleagues and receiving referrals from our wider legal teams across the firm.
Key Requirements
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic solicitor who is committed to developing their employment career.
You Will Ideally Have
- 2 years’ PQE in employment
- A solid grounding in employment law matters
- Strong drafting and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation
- The ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn from senior colleagues
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
