Employment Associate
Location: Exeter
Working Model: Hybrid Working
Our client is a leading UK national law firm with deep roots in the South West and offices across the country. Recognised as a Top 100 UK law firm and ranked in both The Legal 500 and Chambers, the firm advises an impressive client base.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Employment Associate to join their highly regarded and growing Employment team.
You'll work across a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, advising a diverse client portfolio on complex workplace issues while supporting clients through employment tribunal proceedings.
This is a varied role offering significant client exposure, high-quality work and genuine opportunities to contribute to business development and client training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on a wide range of day-to-day employment law matters
- Managing and supporting employment tribunal claims and litigation
- Providing pragmatic, commercially focused employment advice
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Delivering client training and supporting business development activity
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across multiple offices and practice areas
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with demonstrated experience within employment law
- A strong background in both employment advisory and contentious matters
- Experience handling employment tribunal claims and litigation
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A commercial and solutions-focused approach
- The ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
