A well-known Legal 500 multi-office firm is looking for a confident junior Associate (2-6 PQE) to join their Employment team based in central London, not far from Farringdon. The team works on a diverse caseload of employer and employee client matters including litigated and advisory work.
The firm is keen to speak to candidates from a diverse employment background including those currently working in regional firms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing a caseload of litigated and advisory matters including representations in tribunals from start to finish. In renumeration they can offer a flexible work/life balance and highly competitive compensation. Key Responsibilities
- Managing contentious and non-contentious matters, for claimant and respondent clients including but not limited to: employment contracts, updating internal documents, disciplinary, redundancy, settlement agreements, exits, TUPE, and more.
- Assist team Partners on complex employment matters.
- Support the firm's Corporate and Commercial teams on matters arising from mergers, acquisitions, and other transactional work.
- Deliver outstanding client service, with relationship building and a sound understanding of client legal and commercial requirements.
- Conduct advocacy when required.

Skills and Experience
- UK qualified Solicitor with 2 - 6 years PQE from a reputable London firm.
- A demonstrated track record with good quality employment law matters.
- Strong academic background is preferred.
- Technically strong understanding of contentious and non-contentious employment law.
- A passionate personality with an enthusiasm for personal development and strong interpersonal skills.
