About the Job

Employment Solicitor – Up to £57,000 salary

This is a superb opportunity to join an award-winning, modern, dynamic, and supportive law firm offering specialist quality legal advice to commercial clients and private individuals.

The Team has a strong and growing reputation in the Essex market and they work for clients both locally and nationally. The Employment Team is recognised in the Legal 500.

Due to the development and expansion of the firm’s commercial offering, it is now seeking to appoint an experienced Employment Lawyer to work alongside existing partners, driving a resilient and varied legal practice.

The ideal candidate will have wide-ranging experience, including non-contentious respondent matters. However, the workload is as varied as the client base, all interested parties can apply in the strictest of confidence, and all employment law specialisms will be considered.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
