The Role

  • Employee/Claimant only solicitors – predominantly unfair dismissal, discrimination, and settlement agreement
  • Running Tribunal claims from start to finish
  • Assessing prospects of success and determining best methods of funding
  • Preparing early conciliation forms
  • Drafting and lodging ET1’s
  • Advising a client on the law and legal issues relating to their case
  • Drafting documents, letters, and contracts tailored to the client's individual needs
  • Supervising and reviewing the work of a small team of trainee solicitors and paralegal.

Required Criteria

  • Employment law specialist
  • 2 - 4 years PQE
  • Claimant background
  • Experience of running own case load and Tribunal claims from start to finish
  • Advocacy experience
  • Strong IT skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and conversation
  • Ability to plan work and prioritise tasks
