Employment Solicitor / Associate
Up to £60k DOE | 4-day workweek | Hybrid & Flexible Working
Location: Sheffield (S8)
Position: Associate-level opportunity | Established workload | Growing Employment team | Four-day working week
The opportunity
An established and growing professional services business is looking to appoint an experienced Employment Solicitor at Associate level to join and help develop a growing Employment Law team.
The role
You'll manage your own matters and client relationships while working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business.
The role is likely to cover a broad range of Employment matters, depending on your existing experience, with scope to continue developing both technically and commercially.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Take ownership of an established Employment Law workload.
- Manage your own matters with appropriate autonomy.
- Develop strong relationships with existing clients.
- Work alongside experienced colleagues within a growing legal team.
- Gain exposure to businesses and business owners across the wider client network.
- Develop your own professional network and client relationships.
- Contribute ideas as the Employment Law offering continues to develop.
- Broaden your commercial experience alongside your technical legal expertise.
- Progress your career as the team and wider business grows.

Who we're looking for
We're interested in speaking with Employment Solicitors operating at, or ready to step into, Associate level.
You'll likely be someone who:
- Has established experience across Employment Law matters.
- Is comfortable managing their own workload and client matters.
- Provides practical, commercially aware advice.
- Builds strong and trusted client relationships.
- Enjoys autonomy while still valuing a collaborative team environment.
- Wants greater exposure and responsibility as their career develops.
- Is interested in contributing to the development of a growing practice.
- Is looking for genuine longer-term progression rather than simply another Solicitor position.
