Employment Solicitor | 3 Years' PQE Plus

Hybrid | Worcester | £50,000+ DOE

GMP Recruitment Agency Limited are proud to be supporting a highly respected Worcester-based law firm in the recruitment of an experienced Employment Solicitor with 3+ years' PQE to join their growing and well-established Employment team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and commercially minded solicitor to manage a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters while providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice to both employers and employees. We are happy to consider candidates with more senior experience—the key requirement is the ability to manage matters independently and deliver an exceptional level of client service.

The Role

You will advise on a broad range of Employment Law matters, including:

  • Employment Tribunal claims and litigation.
  • Disciplinary, grievance and dismissal procedures.
  • Redundancy and restructuring advice.
  • Employment contracts, handbooks and workplace policies.
  • Settlement agreements and negotiated exits.
  • Discrimination, whistleblowing and unfair dismissal claims.
  • TUPE and business transfer matters.
  • Advising employers on day-to-day HR and employment issues.
  • Supporting business clients with strategic employment law advice and risk management.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
