Employment Solicitor / Associate Leicester | Hybrid Working | Competitive Salary DOE

A well-established and highly regarded law firm is looking to recruit an Employment Solicitor to join its growing team in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for an Employment Lawyer at any stage of their career, from newly qualified through to Senior Associate level, to join a supportive and ambitious firm with genuine opportunities for progression.

The team advises a broad range of clients, from SMEs through to larger national businesses, on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. You'll work alongside experienced employment specialists, gaining exposure to a varied and high-quality caseload while developing your technical expertise.

The Role

You will advise on a wide range of employment matters, including:

  • Unfair dismissal
  • Disciplinary and grievance procedures
  • Discrimination claims
  • TUPE
  • Redundancy and restructuring
  • Whistleblowing
  • Settlement agreements
  • Employment contracts, policies, and handbooks
  • Day-to-day HR and employment law advice for employer clients
  • Supporting senior lawyers on more complex matters where required
  • Business development and networking opportunities (depending on experience)

About You

Applications are welcomed from candidates at all levels with previous Employment Law experience. You will ideally:

  • Have experience handling employment law matters for employers and/or employees.
  • Be confident managing your own caseload or be keen to develop towards this with support.
  • Possess excellent communication and client care skills.
  • Have a commercial and pragmatic approach to advising clients.
  • Be eager to progress your career within a collaborative and growing team.
