An opportunity for a qualified Employment Solicitor at any level, from newly qualified upwards, to be a founding member of the brand new team we are building in our new Ringwood office, working directly with our founder and CEO. Our benefits package includes:

  • A generous base salary of between £45K and £60K dependent on experience. We pay above market rates because, as the UK's number 1 rated law firm, we only hire the best people

What will you do?

As an Employment Solicitor, you'll be supporting employees when they are facing the prospect of losing their job due to redundancy, disciplinary or performance issues. Or they need us to help them initiate a means to leave their job due to mistreatment, discrimination or other forms of workplace dispute. This is a very difficult time for most employees and you can really make a difference by ensuring that they get the best possible support and advice.

You will work alongside experienced senior solicitors, with support and supervision matched to your level of experience. Because we focus exclusively on settlement agreements, you will quickly build a depth of expertise in this area that few employment solicitors can match.

Your client work will include:

  • Advising employees on the terms and effects of their settlement agreement, both over the telephone and in writing;
  • Negotiating the best terms possible for your clients, both financial and non-financial;
  • Creating exit strategies for employees looking to procure a settlement agreement;
  • Treating your clients with care and empathy, as well as providing technical excellence;
  • Fanatical about delivering an exceptional customer experience every time and getting a 5-star review;
  • Working in a fast growth scale-up with exceptional people and striving to help us maintain our number one position within the industry.

What do you offer?

You will be a qualified solicitor (England & Wales), from newly qualified upwards, with employment law experience, whether gained during your training or through years of post-qualification practice. Experience of settlement agreements, redundancy, unfair dismissal, discrimination or general employment advisory work is desirable, but above all we care about your attitude, your appetite to learn and your commitment to client service. Your salary, and the level of support you receive, will reflect the experience you bring.
