Employment Solicitor – Surrey
NQ–3 PQE | Hybrid Working | Claimant-Side Employment
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join a specialist claimant-only Employment practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Employment Solicitor looking to develop their career within a highly specialist environment, with direct access to experienced senior lawyers and significant exposure to high-quality claimant work.
The Opportunity
You will join a growing Employment team acting exclusively for employees and trade union members, with the opportunity to work on a varied caseload ranging from individual Employment Tribunal matters through to complex and high-value litigation.
The team is currently experiencing significant demand and is looking to expand, with opportunities to take on increasing responsibility as the department continues to grow.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Senior Partner and Head of Employment, who has decades of specialist experience in claimant employment law and employment litigation, including involvement in major and high-profile cases.

The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own Employment caseload.
- Acting for claimants in both litigated and non-litigated matters.
- Handling Employment Tribunal claims and employment litigation.
- Advising on whistleblowing, TUPE, settlement agreements and employment rights.
- Working with trade unions and Union Officers, providing legal advice and support.
- Assisting Partners and Senior Solicitors on more extensive and high-value matters.
- Developing an understanding of WIP, billing, profitability and financial management of files.
