Employment Associate Solicitor Birmingham International Law Firm Excellent Career Opportunity

Are you an ambitious Employment Solicitor looking for your next career move?

An established international law firm is looking to appoint an Employment Associate Solicitor to join its highly regarded Birmingham team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Employment lawyer to join a strong and supportive department, reporting directly to the Head of Employment, with excellent exposure to high-quality work and sophisticated clients.

The Role

Working closely with the Head of Department and wider employment team, you will advise a broad range of national and international clients across a varied employment caseload.

Your Work Is Likely To Include

  • Employment Tribunal litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Unfair and wrongful dismissal claims.
  • Discrimination and whistleblowing matters.
  • Settlement agreements.
  • Employment contracts, policies, and procedures.
  • Restrictive covenants and confidentiality issues.
  • TUPE and business reorganisations.
  • Redundancies and restructuring.
  • Senior executive and complex employee relations matters.
  • General day-to-day employment advisory work.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally:

  • Be a qualified Employment Solicitor with solid post-qualification experience.
  • Have experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment work.
  • Be confident managing your own caseload and dealing directly with clients.
  • Have excellent technical, drafting, and advocacy skills.
  • Demonstrate strong commercial awareness.
  • Be comfortable advising sophisticated businesses and senior stakeholders.
  • Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Be ambitious and keen to develop their career within an international law firm.
