Play a key role in helping international businesses set up in the UK.
As an Employment Solicitor, you’ll be a trusted advisor to overseas companies as they expand into the UK. The work you do will therefore be of strategic importance.
You’ll work with colleagues across other disciplines to provide a “one stop shop” of professional advisory services to your clients. You’ll need to be commercially aware and act as a true business advisor.
They’re a close knit team of 2 Partners in their London office and with another junior Solicitor joining in September, you’ll be a team of 4. With support from above and junior resource below. Progression is a complete meritocracy. If you’re good enough, there’s no timelines for Partnership and you will be promoted.

You can expect a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. The work is mixed and includes respondent-side advisory work, corporate transactional support, and some claimant and contentious matters.
This means there will be lots of variety - From employment contracts, and staff handbooks; to guiding employers through complex employment issues such as discrimination claims, TUPE transfers, redundancies, and unfair dismissal cases; and representing both employers and senior executives in employment tribunals.

Hybrid and flexible working as standard.
Given the international nature of their client base, you will have the opportunity to travel internationally including Europe, North American and Australia.

What you’ll need
- 4-7 PQE Employment Solicitor.
- Qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales.
- Experience gained in private practice.
