Employment Associate (3-5 PQE) - London

A top international law firm is seeking a talented Employment Associate (3-5 PQE) to join its highly regarded London team. You will advise on a mix of high quality contentious and non-contentious employment matters for a stellar client base.

Overview

  • Previous experience: Mix of contentious and non-contentious experience High-profile international client exposure

Working closely with a Legal 500 recognised partner, the successful candidate will advise on the employment aspects of complex contentious as well as non-contentious matters including cross-border corporate transactions for multinational clients.

Contentious work

The team specialises in advising on respondent contentious and litigious employment issues which include grievance and disciplinary procedures, as well as dismissals and other complex ER issues. They have an excellent record of defending tribunal claims including claims for discrimination, harassment and unfair dismissal.

They have also advised on high-profile whistleblowing cases. Indeed, cases can often be multijurisdictional in nature leading to high-stakes litigation.

Non-contentious matters

As well as the contentious side of the practice, the team also advises on highly technical transactional work arising from major international transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, multi-jurisdictional carve-outs, outsourcings, business transfers and global reorganisations. Candidate Requirements

  • 3-5 years' PQE in employment law
  • Experience advising on contentious as well as transactional employment matters from a gained in a recognised employment practice.
  • Strong academic background
