Employment Solicitor Opportunity in Edinburgh

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join a highly respected commercial law firm in Edinburgh on a hybrid basis.   • Advising employer clients on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
  • Managing a varied caseload including tribunal litigation, restructures, collective redundancies and TUPE matters.
  • Representing clients in Employment Tribunals and Employment Appeal Tribunals, including advocacy where appropriate.
  • Working closely with colleagues across corporate, immigration, pensions, tax and other practice areas to deliver holistic client solutions.
  • Supporting business development initiatives through client training, seminars and relationship management activities.

Profile

The Employment Solicitor should be:

  • A solicitor or equivalent with 6+ years' PQE in employment law.
  • Experienced in advising employer clients across a range of sectors.
  • A confident communicator capable of advising senior stakeholders and building strong client relationships.
  • Commercially aware with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experienced in handling complex employment matters, including tribunal work.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Committed to ongoing professional development and delivering high standards of client service.
