Employment Solicitor - Locum, 2+ years’ PQE, London/ Hybrid, 6 month fixed term contract, circa £35 per hour
An opportunity has arisen for an immediately available employment solicitor to join a reputable organisation on a six month basis due to an increased workload. THE ROLE:
The appointed Employment Solicitor will be responsible for:
- Managing a varied caseload of employment claims and litigation on behalf of members
- Representing clients before Employment Tribunals, courts, internal hearings and other dispute resolution procedures
- Undertaking advocacy where appropriate
- Representing members before regulatory bodies
- Providing legal advice and support to regional colleagues
- Contributing to the delivery of training on employment law issues
- Assisting with the preparation of legal guidance, articles and other written materials
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider objectives of the organisation

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are open to qualified Solicitors with over two years’ PQE in employment law, experienced in managing casework and supporting training initiatives. You will have:
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication, advocacy, and negotiation skills
- Experience in producing clear legal documentation
- Ability to explain complex issues effectively to colleagues and members
- Additional experience in related areas such as personal injury claims
