Head of Advisory - Employment Solicitor
Manchester
Full package: c. £100k
An opportunity to become the lead employment lawyer advising a blue-chip client base, taking ownership of senior relationships and guiding clients through their most important people issues. You’ll have the platform and support to shape the advisory offering, grow the work and make a real mark on the practice.
You’ll take the lead on non-contentious employment advice for clients including businesses across a range of commercial sectors including retail, consumer, technology, and sports. The role goes beyond managing their day-to-day work: you’ll become a trusted senior adviser, support them on significant projects, and identify opportunities to grow the relationships. You’ll step into established client relationships, which means that you can concentrate on delivering excellent advice and developing the advisory work from day one.

This could suit a Senior Associate ready for Legal Director, or an established Legal Director looking for greater ownership. However, the importance of this role is not based on status or PQE rather your ability to advise large organisations confidently, build strong client relationships, and lead others. Experience in retail, hospitality, or leisure would be useful but is by no means essential.
