Employment Solicitor: Locum, 2+ years' PQE, London/ Hybrid, 6 month fixed term contract, circa GBP 35.00 per hour

The Role

The appointed Employment Solicitor will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of employment claims and litigation on behalf of members, representing clients before Employment Tribunals, courts, internal hearings, and other dispute resolution procedures. You will also undertake advocacy where appropriate, represent members before regulatory bodies, provide legal advice and support to regional colleagues, and contribute to the delivery of training on employment law issues. In addition, you will assist with the preparation of legal guidance, articles, and other written materials, whilst working collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider objectives of the organisation.

The Candidate

Applications are open to qualified Solicitors with over two years' PQE in employment law, experienced in managing casework and supporting training initiatives. You will have strong analytical skills with excellent communication, advocacy, and negotiation skills. The appointed solicitor will produce clear legal documentation and explain complex issues effectively to colleagues and members, with additional experience in related areas such as personal injury claims.
