A well-known Legal 500 multi-office firm is looking for a confident junior Solicitor (NQ-2 PQE) to join their Employment team based in central London, not far from Farringdon. The team works on a diverse caseload of employer and employee client matters including litigated and advisory work.

The firm is looking for an excellent candidate of Associate level and is open to candidates from a Legal 500 or local background. The ideal candidate will have experience managing their own caseload and exposure to tribunals from start to finish. In remuneration they can offer a flexible work/life balance and highly competitive compensation. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer who is looking for their next step up post-qualification in a highly reputable firm within the City!

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing contentious and non-contentious matters, for claimant and respondent clients.
  • Assist team Partners on complex employment matters.
  • Deliver outstanding client service, with relationship building and a sound understanding of client legal and commercial requirements.
  • Conduct advocacy when required.

Skills and Experience

  • UK qualified Employment Solicitor with 0 - 2 years PQE from a reputable London firm.
  • A demonstrated track record and an enthusiasm for employment law matters.
  • Strong academic background is preferred.
  • Technically strong understanding of contentious and non-contentious employment law.
  • A passionate personality with an enthusiasm for personal development and strong interpersonal skills.
