A well-known and top-tier Legal 500 firm is looking for a confident junior Solicitor (NQ-2 PQE) to join their excellent Employment team based in central London, not far from Chancery Lane. The team works with recognisable employers and public bodies with a track record of complex and high-profile cases.

With a broad workload, including a mix of claimant, respondent, and advisory matters, the firm is looking for an excellent candidate of Associate level with a background in London employment law. The ideal candidate will have touched upon public sector clients such as central Governmental departments or central London councils. In remuneration they can offer a flexible work/life balance and highly competitive compensation. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer who is looking for their next step up post-qualification in a highly reputable national firm!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing contentious and non-contentious matters, for claimant and respondent clients.
  • Deliver outstanding client service, with relationship building and a sound understanding of client legal and commercial requirements.
  • Provide training to clients and support external legal teams.
  • Conduct advocacy when required.

Skills and Experience:

  • UK qualified Employment Solicitor with 0 - 2 years PQE from a reputable London firm.
  • A demonstrated track record and an enthusiasm for high-quality employment law matters.
  • Strong academic background at degree and A-level.
  • Technically strong understanding of contentious and non-contentious employment law.
  • A passionate personality with an enthusiasm for personal development and strong interpersonal skills.
