About The Role
A full-time opening exists for an Employment Solicitor (Partner) in Stoke-on-Trent, offering a highly competitive salary plus benefits and bonus. The successful candidate will play a key role in the continued growth of the Employment offering, working with an established client base while also having the opportunity to develop new relationships and generate further business across Staffordshire and the wider region.
An existing following and proven business development skills are essential for this role.
You will be encouraged to build on your existing network, develop relationships with businesses and senior decision-makers and play an active role in shaping the future growth of the Employment team.
THE CANDIDATE
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Be an experienced Employment Partner or senior Employment Solicitor ready to take the next step.
- Have a strong technical background across both contentious and/or non-contentious employment matters.
- Have an established client following and demonstrable ability to generate work.
- Be commercially minded with excellent business development and networking skills.
- Have strong links with businesses and professional contacts across Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and the surrounding areas.
- Be confident in developing both existing and new client relationships.
- Have the ambition to grow a practice and potentially develop a team around them.
- Be entrepreneurial, personable and keen to play a visible role in the firm's continued growth.

THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a role for an Employment lawyer who wants to build and develop a practice, rather than simply inherit a caseload.
With the support of an established firm and a strong regional platform, there is genuine scope for the successful candidate to develop their own client base, increase their profile in the market and contribute to the strategic growth of the Employment team.
An established following and demonstrable business development capability are key requirements.
