About The Role
This full-time Partner position with eNL in Hertfordshire suits a seasoned Employment Solicitor boasting over ten years’ post-qualification experience. The successful candidate will advise employers, HR specialists, and senior executives on complex contentious and non-contentious matters, covering contracts, policies, disciplinary issues, and strategic HR guidance. An established client following plus robust market relationships are essential for contributing to the growth of a practice ranked by Chambers & Partners and Legal 500. An excellent salary and benefits package is offered. This role demands commercial insight, technical excellence, and proven business development capability, with genuine prospects for influencing a highly regarded team.
EMPLOYMENT SOLICITOR (PARTNER), 10+ PQE, HERTFORDSHIRE, EXCELLENT SALARY & BENEFITS PACKAGE. A leading Employment team, ranked in both the Chambers & Partners and Legal 500, is seeking an experienced Solicitor to join at Partner level. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior lawyer with an established client following and strong market relationships to play a key role in the continued growth and development of a highly regarded Employment practice – JOB REF: 215305569
The Role
You will advise a diverse client base of employers, HR professionals, and senior executives on a broad range of complex contentious and non-contentious employment matters, delivering commercially focused, strategic advice across day-to-day HR issues, employment contracts and policies, disciplinary and grievance matters, and Employment Tribunal claims including unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, and redundancy. You will also have the opportunity to advise on high-value restructures, TUPE, and workforce planning projects, as well as providing trusted counsel to senior management teams, boards, and senior professionals.

In addition to this, you will also play an active role in business development and contributing to the continued growth and profile of the Employment team. As a senior member of the practice, you will have genuine autonomy and influence, with the opportunity to build your own client base, shape the future direction of the department, and play a key role in the firm's wider growth strategy.
The Candidate
Applications are welcomed from experienced Solicitors with 10+ years' PQE and a strong track record across both contentious and non-contentious employment law. You will bring excellent technical expertise, experience handling complex Employment Tribunal litigation and strategic advisory work, alongside an established client following and network of professional contacts. Commercially minded and solutions-focused, you will have excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills, a proven ability to develop business and build lasting client and referrer relationships, and the confidence and ambition to play a key senior leadership role in a growing practice.
