Opportunity for an Employment Solicitor (Senior Associate) to join a Top 100 law firm with offices in Hertfordshire and London.

The team
The successful Employment Solicitor will join a well-established Employment team based in Hertfordshire, forming part of a much larger national Employment practice. Because of the team's scale, there's genuine flexibility to shape a caseload around the work you're most passionate about, with the firm happy to lean into an individual's main areas of interest through referring work across offices.

The team advises a predominantly respondent client base, alongside some senior exec level claimant work.
The role
The firm is seeking an Employment Solicitor (Senior Associate level) to join its Hertfordshire team, with a particular focus on respondent employment work.
Working closely with other experienced Employment Solicitors, the successful candidate will advise employers on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious matters. This will include:
- Advising a range of businesses across various sectors such as Education and Charity
- Handling discrimination, whistleblowing and other sensitive employment claims
- Advising on restrictive covenants and post-termination issues
- Advising clients on strategic employment and workforce matters
- Employment Tribunal litigation
- Advising Senior Executives (claimant side)
Required
- UK qualified Employment Solicitor with 4 years' PQE plus, ideally at Senior Associate level (Associates with strong respondent experience also encouraged to apply)
- Strong employment law experience gained within a leading law firm or recognised employment practice
- Experience handling Employment Tribunal litigation, including hearing attendance
- Strong technical knowledge across employment law, with excellent drafting and client-facing skills
