Employment Solicitor

Our client, a medium-sized, highly regarded Chambers listed practice, are now seeking a talented junior Employment Solicitor to join their team at their London offices. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and growing firm, taking your career to the next level.

About the Role

  • You will be working with a range of clients across many public and private sectors, including financial services, care, retail, construction, and recruitment.
  • You will advise both employers and employees across a varied range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
  • Your work is likely to include employment contracts and policies, disciplinary and grievance matters, performance issues, settlement agreements, redundancy and restructuring, discrimination, whistleblowing, and employment tribunal claims.
  • You will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload while working as part of a supportive and collaborative team, with exposure to a broad range of clients and interesting employment issues.

Candidate Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will be 2+PQE and have a strong academic background, together with experience gained in a highly regarded employment team within a City or large regional practice.
  • You will be confident liaising with clients and counterpart solicitors, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Their lawyers have excellent reputations and departments are expanding, so this is an exciting time to join the business, with opportunities quickly to prove yourself and to make rapid progress.
