We are looking for motivated, people‑focused individuals to join our friendly Individual Placement & Support (IPS) Employment Services as Employment Specialists supporting people with serious and enduring mental health difficulties, who are employed when referred to the service.

If you believe in the power of good work to support recovery....

If you’re passionate about helping people build confidence and purpose…

If you enjoy building relationships with local employers…

…then this could be the perfect role for you.

IPS is an evidence‑based model that helps people into paid work quickly and sustainably or supports people to retain current work. Although 90% of people with severe mental illness want to work, only 8% are currently in employment — your work will directly help to change this.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a highly rewarding, varied and fast‑paced role. You will:

Supporting clients

  • Manage a caseload of employed people with mental health difficulties, helping them retain or find alternative paid employment.
  • Use a person‑centred, strengths‑based approach to identify career goals and provide tailored support.
  • Help clients identify reasonable adjustments and return‑to‑work strategies.
  • Promote independence, confidence and hope throughout each person’s recovery journey.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • 72% of colleagues would recommend the Trust as a place to work, ranking us 1st for Provider Trusts in the South West region on this question.
  • 76% would recommend the standard of care provided in our services if a friend or relative needed treatment, also ranking us 1st in the South West region.
