The Role:
Are you an experienced Employment Advisor/Specialist or Recruitment Consultant looking for a role where you can genuinely change lives?
We are looking for motivated, people-focused professionals to join a growing Connect to Work team across the Wirral. This rewarding opportunity involves supporting individuals with disabilities or health-related conditions to move closer to the workplace, secure sustainable employment, and build confidence for the future.
Working within the community, you'll manage your own caseload, deliver tailored support, and help people overcome barriers to achieve their employment goals. This role would suit someone with a background in employment services or recruitment who is passionate about helping others succeed.

The role involves:
- Managing a caseload of participants and delivering face-to-face support within the local community.
- Conducting in-depth assessments to understand each individual's skills, experience, aspirations, and barriers to employment.
- Creating personalised action plans designed to move customers towards sustainable work.
- Referring participants to training, workshops, mentoring, and other support services to improve employability.
- Setting and reviewing SMART goals to track progress and maintain engagement.
- Providing ongoing coaching, motivation, and practical job search support.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all customer interactions are fully documented.
- Supporting individuals to achieve positive and sustainable employment outcomes.
You'll need:
- Previous experience as an Employment Advisor, Employment Coach, Job Coach, Careers Advisor, or Recruitment Consultant.
- Experience managing a caseload and supporting individuals into employment.
- Strong understanding of the barriers people can face when seeking work.
- Experience carrying out assessments and developing personalised support plans.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, organised, and target-focused approach.
- Empathy, resilience, and a genuine commitment to helping people achieve their goals.

Due to the nature of this role, you will be a vehicle driver with access to your own vehicle. You will be required to complete an online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and you will have access to your own vehicle as you will travel across the region.
