About the Role
This role will perform an employment status project to improve compliance with tax and employment legislation. The role will undertake assessments for employment status queries from all university departments as well as reviewing, updating and implementing process changes.
About the Team
The role sits within the university’s tax team, which covers compliance for all direct and indirect taxes for the university. The role will report to and work closely with the Employment Taxes Manager to deliver the project, supported by a Tax Assistant.
About You
You must have strong knowledge of and experience in UK off-payroll working legislation, including experience in conducting status assessments. You must be able to build strong and credible relationships with stakeholders across the university and advise on technical matters in a non-technical way.
