Location: Peterborough
Salary: £28,500 to £32,000
Hyde is looking for an Empty Homes & Lettings Officer.
You will oversee notices of voids and project manage the end-to-end empty homes process, ensuring systems are kept up to date and properties are advertised accurately. Working closely with the Property Maintenance team and other key stakeholders, you will help ensure homes are ready to let efficiently and within agreed timescales.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate customer records and property information on Northgate.
- Where required, carry out application interviews, affordability checks, sending offer letters. Ability to carry out viewings and signups and associated referrals and paperwork.
- Work productively with the Lettings team to co-ordinate and manage customers moving in and out of their homes based on the agreed process, anticipating customer needs to ensure an effortless service is delivered.
- Review and co-ordinate any repair recharges and liaise with Income Services to implement these.
- Prepare and organise empty homes for lettings, including the placing of adverts, whilst ensuring a consistent high quality of work.

Essential Qualifications And Skills
- Excellent communication both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and support customers in a helpful and responsive way.
- Proficient in using IT systems and software to support effective service delivery
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
