This position demands a strategic approach to balancing supply and demand, optimizing inventory levels, and mitigating supply risks to consistently meet service delivery expectations. Collaborating extensively with Product Companies, Distribution Centers, and various global teams, you will drive operational excellence and enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring the smooth flow of spare parts and service materials worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning & Inventory Sizing: Support and coordinate inventory planning activities, facilitating the re-profiling and allocation of stock across global hubs and distribution centers. Strive to achieve optimal product availability aligned with service level targets, working closely with product manufacturers and supply sites to mitigate impacts without compromising service commitments.

Employ data-driven analysis using inventory metrics, demand trends, and lead time information to diagnose root causes and implement timely, effective corrective actions. Proactively escalate critical issues to leadership to safeguard business continuity.

- Supply Review & Stakeholder Coordination: Participate actively in routine supply review meetings alongside hubs and product companies. Track and report on supply constraints, performance metrics, and follow-up actions to maintain transparency and drive continuous improvements.
- KPI Reporting & Performance Tracking: Develop and disseminate regular KPI reports reflecting supply chain performance metrics. Analyze data to uncover risks or improvement opportunities and present actionable insights to the EMS Planning Lead and relevant teams.
- Planning Data & Exception Management: Identify and resolve planning exceptions or unplanned issues related to spare parts within your scope. Maintain high data accuracy and completeness to facilitate seamless supply execution across the network.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
