Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and reliable Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at Ibis London Excel. The successful candidate will work closely with the Food & Beverage team to deliver high-quality food across our hotel restaurant and breakfast service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and present dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with hotel recipes, standards and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene, health and safety standards at all times.
- Assist with preparation for breakfast, lunch, dinner, functions and special events as required.
- Monitor food quality, freshness and portion control.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Assist with stock rotation, deliveries and storage of food products.
- Minimise food waste and maintain good stock control.
- Keep equipment and wider kitchen areas clean and organised.
- Support and communicate effectively with other members of the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Follow COSHH, HACCP and other relevant food safety procedures.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties required by the management team.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar professional kitchen environment.
- Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety requirements.
- The ability to work a flexible rota, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Must have the Right to Work in the UK
