Please note: While this role is advertised as Enablement Manager, the official internal job title at Cognisys is Project Manager. The responsibilities and scope of the role remain exactly as described below.

About Cognisys

At Cognisys, we help organisations build confidence in their cyber security, governance and compliance. Through our specialist teams, we provide Penetration Testing, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) consultancy and Managed Security Services that enable our clients to operate securely and confidently.

Our people are trusted advisors who work in partnership with clients to solve real business challenges. We pride ourselves on delivering pragmatic, commercially focused advice that creates lasting value, underpinned by our values of Together, Ownership, Momentum and Excellent.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an Enablement Manager - Penetration Testing to join our expanding PenTest Team.

The Opportunity

Our Penetration Testing team is central to helping clients understand and reduce real-world cyber risk through high-quality offensive security testing.

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and passionate about delivering an exceptional client experience. This role is responsible for ensuring penetration testing engagements run smoothly from initial client engagement through to final report delivery.

You don't need to come from a traditional project management or cybersecurity background. If you thrive on coordinating multiple priorities, building strong relationships, removing obstacles and keeping projects moving, we'd love to hear from you.

This role is about enabling success—supporting our consultants so they can focus on delivering exceptional technical work while ensuring our clients always know exactly where they stand.

What You'll Be Doing

Client & Engagement Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for multiple penetration testing engagements.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Ensure client objectives, timelines and expectations are clearly understood and managed.
  • Facilitate project kick-off meetings, regular status updates and engagement close-out sessions.
  • Provide proactive communication throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
