End of Tenancy Consultant

Welcome to Charters, part of Lomond, the UK’s leading network of lettings and estate agencies. With 26 branches and over 370 professionals, we combine local expertise with a customer-first approach.

We’re looking for an End of Tenancy Consultant to join our Southampton office on a 12-month fixed-term, part-time contract, working 3 days per week, 9am–5pm. The salary is £27,500 pro rata.

The role

  • Manage end-of-tenancy documentation, including inventories, check-outs, and deposit refunds.
  • Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and cleaning ahead of re-letting.
  • Act as the main contact for landlords and tenants throughout the process.
  • Support deposit disputes and related paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate property records and document damage or discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in property management or the UK rental sector is preferred.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant UK property legislation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
