End-to-End Learning Designer
6-month day-rate contract
Hybrid: 2 days per week in the office on the South Coast
Day rate: Circa £350
Start date: ASAP
IR35: Inside (must go via an umbrella)
About the opportunity
We are working with a leading organisation who are currently going through a transformation project.
We are looking for an experienced End-to-End Learning Designer to support the design and development of high-quality digital and blended learning solutions that improve and accelerate on-the-job training.
You will work closely with technical Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to understand complex requirements and translate specialist knowledge into engaging, accessible and effective learning experiences.
The role
You will take ownership of learning solutions from initial concept and learning needs analysis through design, development, testing, quality assurance, release and ongoing maintenance.

Your work will include developing a varied range of learning solutions, such as:
- Digital learning and e-learning modules
- Interactive and multimedia learning
- Simulation-based learning tools
- Short instructional and explainer videos
- Workbooks and practical learning resources
- Assessment materials, knowledge checks and question banks
- On-the-job training resources
You will also:
- Analyse learning requirements and recommend appropriate learning approaches.
- Work collaboratively with SMEs to translate complex technical information into clear and engaging learning.
- Ensure learning products meet agreed quality, accessibility and design standards.
- Manage multiple learning developments and updates, balancing priorities and deadlines.
- Support the release, version control, maintenance and continuous improvement of learning products.
- Develop guidance and resources to support trainers in using learning solutions effectively.
- Use feedback, evaluation and performance data to improve learning outcomes.

About you
You will have proven experience in a Learning Designer, Instructional Designer, Digital Learning Developer or similar role, with strong end-to-end learning development capability.
We are looking for:
- Experience designing and developing learning solutions within a technical or L&D/training environment.
- Strong digital learning experience across e-learning, video and multimedia content.
- Experience using rapid authoring and digital creation tools, ideally Articulate Storyline, Evolve and/or Adobe Creative Suite
