Endoscopy Administrative Supervisor

The Directorate of Gastroenterology is seeking to recruit an Endoscopy Administrative Supervisor for the Medical and Pharmacy Service Care Group at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to come and join our team in the Endoscopy Suites based in the Huntsman Building/Coleridge House at the Northern General Hospital, and in the Endoscopy Unit, P Floor at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.

The successful candidate will need to be an excellent team player and able to work using their own initiative. We are looking to appoint a motivated individual who must have excellent communication and organisational skills.

About the Role

This dynamic and interesting role will involve working within our existing multidisciplinary supportive team, providing essential day to day administrative support for Endoscopy services.

Responsibilities

  • To provide senior support and supervision to the Endoscopy Clerks, and to be responsible for coordination of the administrative function, ensuring an efficient and effective service for patients and clinical teams.
  • To facilitate effective multidiscipline team working and communication, to assist in the smooth operation of the Endoscopy administrative function.
  • To ensure effective organisation of the waiting lists and procedures lists, to deliver the service within the established service level agreements.
