We are looking for a Clinical Leader for our Hospital to help us build a healthier nation. If you’re registered with the appropriate governing body and you have the relevant qualifications and post registration in surgery/anaesthetics experience, including as a Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner, we want to hear from you. With strong clinical leadership, you will guide your team with a shared vision promoting innovation and sustainability. As a clinical leader, you will have good communication and organizational skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Knowledge and understanding of running a smooth & effective department and equipment is also essential.

As our Clinical Leader, you will:
- Conduct and organize the Endoscopy team within theatre, which includes the smooth running of the theatre lists and organizing booking forms and assisting sessions in theatres
- Work collaboratively and flexibly across the theatre suites to accommodate the service demands of each department, which include Endoscopy, General, Gynae
- Promote effective clinical risk management and governance within the department, including safety and risk management, quality improvement and ensure policies and procedures to enhance patient care and service delivery
- Have experience of working towards JAG accreditation and can demonstrate a clear understanding of the requirements to achieve this, as well as maintain it
- Have extensive knowledge required for dealing with audits and equipment
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of surgical techniques and associated equipment
