Job title: Endpoint Engineer

Salary: £32,458 - £35,620 per annum (SCP 23-26)

Contract: Permanent

Work pattern: 35 hours per week worked Monday to Friday

Location: Glasgow - This is an office and site-based role. Regular travel to Wheatley offices is required.

About The Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Endpoint Engineers to join our IT Customer Services and Support team and play a key role in supporting colleagues across Wheatley. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated on-site engineering capability that delivers high-quality technology support, device deployment and workplace technology services across our offices and operational locations.

You will help ensure colleagues have the devices, equipment and technology they need to work effectively, while supporting major technology improvement programmes that contribute to better services for our customers and communities. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your expertise and commitment to excellent customer service will directly support service delivery, digital transformation and continuous improvement across the organisation.

You'll Have

  • experience supporting colleagues through the effective delivery of endpoint and workplace technology services;
  • experience providing on-site technical support and resolving end-user technology issues;
  • knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows devices and endpoint technologies;
  • experience using endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune or similar solutions;
  • experience supporting smartphones, tablets and mobile device technologies;
  • strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
  • excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences;
  • strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload across multiple locations;
  • experience supporting device deployments, replacements and technology rollout activities;
  • a customer-focused approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; and
  • a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

You'll also be collaborative, adaptable and driven to deliver excellent outcomes, while building strong relationships and supporting continuous improvement across the organisation.

As travel is an essential part of this role, you must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel regularly to Wheatley offices and operational locations throughout Scotland.
