Why join us?
If you love food and technology as much as we do, you’ll love life at Vita Mojo. We’re on a mission to revolutionise the hospitality experience for operators and their customers. Through our smart digital products, we’re powering the digital transformation of your favourite bars and restaurants. And we want a world where everyone gets the meal they’re hoping for. Each and every time.
Our Vita Mojo DNA
We’re proud to have built an award-winning digital platform. Vita Mojo is a positive, energetic and forward-thinking place to work, and when you become a Moji, you’ll be joining a supportive team who’ve always got your back. Our passion for technology and food is matched only by our support for our people.
About the role
Vita Mojo's Self-service Kiosks, Point of Sale (POS) terminals, printers and payment devices sit in hundreds of restaurants across the UK and Europe. Every hour one of them is down is an hour a restaurant can't trade properly. Keeping that estate up and healthy is this role.
You'll own the endpoint estate once it's live: managing the fleet through our Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms, running a maintenance routine that catches faults before they have an impact, fixing remotely, and documenting what you learn so the fix works the second time without you. If you've done End User Computing or endpoint engineering in a corporate environment, the discipline will be familiar.
You'll work alongside our Hardware Solutions Engineer, who owns device specification and strategy, and our Deployment Consultant, who gets devices ordered, staged and installed.
What you'll be measured on
- Device uptime across the estate
- How quickly we detect a fault, not just how quickly we fix one
- Accuracy of the asset register against what is actually in the field
- Run-book coverage: this role is not just about the daily doing, learnings and improvements need to be supportable by other teams and influence process, automation and product improvements.
The day-to-day
Estate health and uptime
The bulk of your week.
- Run a daily health routine across the fleet: offline devices, failing reboots, crashes, connectivity drops, storage.
- Tune the alerting so we find faults proactively, and measure whether that is improving.
- Diagnose and fix remotely: reboots, reinstalls, configuration pushes, storage clean-ups, policy reapplication
- Spot patterns across the estate rather than treating every fault as a one-off
Maintenance and lifecycle
- Own a scheduled maintenance cycle rather than waiting for things to break: Operating System (OS) and firmware currency, certificate and licence expiry, storage headroom, temperature monitoring, peripherals
- Day-to-day MDM administration across MDM platforms: enrolment, retirement, policy management, application and OS version control
- Maintain the device configuration baseline, find and correct drift, and keep licence counts accurate
- Plan and run estate-wide changes in controlled waves, with a tested rollback
- Android system-level work: zero-touch enrolment, kiosk and lockdown modes, permissions, log capture and Android Debug Bridge (ADB) diagnosis
- Tuning the Android environment
- Manage installed software footprint, work out what is needed and disable all unneccesary pre-installed software, system services and background processes.
- Treat patching as a performance lever, not only a security one. Firmware and Android patch levels often carry stability and performance fixes, so knowing which releases are worth taking is part of the job.
- Control what updates itself, and when. Managed Google Play policy, system component auto-updates, staged rollouts and schedules that avoid trading hours, so nothing restarts a device mid-service unless we decided it should.
- Get more life out of older hardware. Part of our estate is five to seven years old and still has to get through a full day's trading.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Asset data and reporting
- Own the asset register: serial numbers, naming conventions, location, warranty and lifecycle state
- Keep the mapping honest between what a dashboard says and what is actually sitting in the restaurant.
- Produce the estate reporting that vendor, client and internal conversations rely on
Support, escalation and documentation
- Act as third line hardware escalation for the support team
- Be the remote technical hand for third-party field engineers during installs and repairs, and challenge reports when appropriate.
- Attend client sites yourself when a fault won't reproduce remotely. Occasional rather than weekly.
- Turn every recurring fix into a runbook, and maintain the device knowledge base: configurations, known faults, firmware history, peripheral compatibility
- Work the test backlog and chase open vendor defects to a result
- Cover the Hardware Solutions Engineer on defined areas, and join a support rota as our managed service offering launches
About you
- You've managed devices at scale through an MDM or endpoint platform. Intune, Jamf, Esper, EloView, SOTI, Workspace ONE or similar. Genuine ownership matters more than which platform.
- You're technical with Android at a system level, not just as a user, or close enough to get there quickly.
- You think in estates: compliance state, configuration drift, patch currency, asset accuracy.
- You're curious about why a device is slow, not only whether it's up.
- You've worked with hardware that lives outside the office: POS, kiosks, payment terminals, printers or handhelds.
- You write things down without being asked, and you finish things. Open items get chased and closed rather than quietly parked.
- You can hold a technical conversation with a vendor, and push back when an answer isn't good enough.
Bonus points if you
- Have Android Enterprise experience: device owner mode, zero-touch enrolment, managed Google Play
- Have worked with Elo, Zebra, Sunmi, Epson, Star or payment terminal hardware
- Are handy with ADB, logcat, light scripting or basic SQL for pulling device data
- Have done Android performance or footprint work: memory and storage profiling, start-up time, background execution limits
- Have supported unattended devices in the field: kiosks, lockers, vending, charging or signage
- Have worked in restaurant, retail or hospitality technology

What this role is not
- Not a general IT helpdesk role. You won't be resetting staff passwords or fixing laptops.
- Not purely reactive ticket work. Most of your week goes on finding problems nobody has reported yet and maintenance to avoid those problems occurring.
- Not Android application development. Our engineering team owns the Vita Mojo application. You own the environment it runs in.
