Endpoint Solutions Engineer
Location: Essex – field-based across the South East
Salary: £30,000–£40,000
Travel: Approximately 3 days per week at client sites
Driving licence and own vehicle essential
Nigel Frank International is working with a growing Managed Service Provider in Essex to recruit an Endpoint Solutions Engineer.
This is a great opportunity for an IT Support Engineer or Service Desk Analyst who enjoys hands-on technology and wants to move away from being desk-based all day. You will spend much of your time out at client sites, setting up, deploying and supporting PCs, laptops and end-user devices, while also getting involved in wider support and project work.
You will be trusted to work independently on-site, represent the business professionally with customers and make sure new and replacement devices are configured, deployed and working properly. On non-client-site days, you may work from home or from the office depending on project and team requirements.

What you will be doing
- Build, configure, deploy and replace PCs, laptops and other end-user devices for customers.
- Support device rollouts, refresh programmes, rebuilds and minor installation projects.
- Resolve first-line desktop, hardware and Microsoft 365 support issues.
- Travel to customer sites across the South East—typically around three days per week.
- Work closely with the projects and support teams, escalating more complex technical issues where required.
- Deliver a professional, reliable service directly to customers and manage your own workload while on-site.
- Get involved in wider Modern Workplace, Microsoft 365, Azure and IT infrastructure support as your experience develops.
What we are looking for
- Previous experience in IT support, service desk, desktop support, field support or endpoint engineering.
- Practical experience setting up, configuring and troubleshooting PCs, laptops, Windows devices and user hardware.
- A good understanding of Microsoft 365 and general first-line support.
- Exposure to Intune, Azure, networking or wider infrastructure support would be beneficial, but is not essential.
- A full UK driving licence and your own car—this is essential due to regular travel to client sites. Business mileage is reimbursed.
- Someone comfortable working independently and dealing directly with customers.
- Strong communication skills, good organisation and a practical, hands-on approach.
