Are you an experienced Endpoint Engineer looking to apply your skills in a highly secure environment where the work genuinely matters?

You’ll be joining Sopra Steria’s Aerospace, Defence and Security business, working as part of a specialist Endpoint team supporting a prestigious government client on Deep Vetting aligned programmes.

This role sits within accredited, high assurance environments and operates under strict security controls. You’ll be working with trusted colleagues who value professionalism, collaboration and a strong security mindset. The work combines business as usual operational support with project-based delivery, shaped by evolving client requirements.

While the sensitive nature of the work means some responsibilities cannot be discussed publicly, you’ll be trusted to apply defined technical standards with sound judgement and care.

This role is office-based in Gloucestershire due to the secure nature of the work.

Security Clearance Level: Enhanced Developed Vetting (eDV) – cleared or eligible.

What you'll be doing:

  • Designing, implementing and supporting secure Microsoft endpoint and server infrastructure within approved architectures and assurance processes.
  • Providing third line support for complex incidents, including fault diagnosis, root cause analysis and secure remediation.
  • Supporting both business as usual services and project-based delivery aligned to client requirements.
  • Administering and supporting Windows 11 enterprise estates and Windows Server 2019 and later.
  • Using Microsoft System Center tools including Configuration Manager, Operations Manager and the SCORCH product.
  • Using PowerShell and automation to deliver compliant administration and improve service reliability.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
