Summary
You will be responsible for ensuring The Greenspan Agency’s existing clients obtain revenue from their renewable electricity generation assets by handling office functions as part of our bureau service. You will work with operational wind, hydro, biogas, and solar generators.
Hours
Permanent full-time position.
Location
In-person role at our office in central Edinburgh.
The Greenspan Agency
Operating in the renewable energy sector since 2007, we own and operate energy projects and support our clients with the development, construction, and operation of their energy generation assets. You will work with, and be mentored by, an experienced team with a track record of providing the office functions necessary for the UK’s transition to renewable energy. Our successful bureau service provides owners of generation assets with the administrative functions needed for the sale of electricity, and the claiming of incentives such as the Feed-in-Tariff, and Renewables Obligation, etc.

Responsibilities
- Assisting with Power Purchase Agreements for generators.
- Diligent data entry, record keeping, and reporting.
- Invoicing electricity suppliers on behalf of generators for electricity production and subsidies due.
- Reporting to the Bureau Manager and working closely with others in the bureau team.
- Attending bureau team meetings and contributing to the team’s professional culture, problem solving, and decision making.
- Using electricity meter data and solving metering problems.
- Maintaining records of electricity generation, revenue, tasks completed.
- Entering accurate information into Ofgem’s Renewable Electricity Register.

Essential
- Tenacious approach to problem solving and task completion.
- Excellent, verbal communication skills, literacy, and numeracy.
- Able to develop professional relationships with clients and colleagues.

- Honesty.
Preferred
- Experience in the energy sector.
- Experience with other office, record keeping, data entry, utilities, banking, or financial roles.
- Experienced in the use of Microsoft Excel.
- Degree in a related subject.
- 4 years post-education workplace experience.

Competitive and dependent on experience
