Role Description
The Energy Analyst role is a full-time, on-site position based in Sunderland. The Energy Analyst will:

- Review and interpret utilities and energy market data
- Analyze client consumption patterns
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and carbon reduction
- Prepare clear reports and recommendations
- Support the negotiation and renewal of energy contracts
- Monitor market trends to inform client strategies
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver tailored solutions
- Respond to client queries
- Maintain accurate records in line with internal processes and regulatory requirements

Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and Data Analysis capabilities to interpret complex energy and utilities information
- Knowledge of Energy Markets and the broader Energy Industry to understand pricing, regulations, and market drivers
- Experience or understanding of Energy Management to support efficiency, sustainability, and carbon reduction initiatives
- Effective communication and report-writing skills to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in spreadsheet and data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, BI tools) and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Sunderland, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Relevant education in energy, environmental science, engineering, economics, finance, or a related discipline is beneficial; prior experience in the UK utilities or energy sector is an advantage
